Solar power exported to the grid avoided about 36 kg (my share). Shown separately, never subtracted.
How it works
- Each year I add up what my work and my life emit. Just me, not my family. Some figures are estimates until the year ends.
- Flux pays for biochar to cover every tonne, from Varaha in Gujarat, India, through Ecologi (Global Artisan C-Sink registry, project 1013). Certificates go here once bought.
- Flux never spends less than 1% of its revenue. If the biochar costs less, UK trees make up the difference.
- Emissions and removal are shown side by side, never netted off. This is not a carbon neutral or net zero claim.
